2022 Maruti Brezza will get a CNG variant; set to launch on June 30 – Smartprix

Maruti is gearing to bring the 2022 Brezza to India with a sportier trim and new cosmetic upgrades. The upcoming SUV is now reported to arrive in the CNG variant to become the first SUV in India to run on gas. The official launch of the new Brezza is scheduled to happen on June 30.

2022 Maruti Brezza Details

The new 2022 Maruti Brezza will get a new front design including a major upgrade to the headlights, DRLs, bumper, and front grilles. It will sport a fog lamp casing for a distinctive touch. It is confirmed to boast dual-tone alloy wheels, a wider body cladding, and door moulding. The rear end will have a newly designed bumper and new fonts for the Brezza branding.

The new Brezza is confirmed to become the first Maruti vehicle to boast an electric sunroof. Till now, the company has been resistive to installing a sunroof but the growing interest has compelled the brand to take the step. The interior of the 2022 Brezza will get a bigger floating head-up display at the centre.

For the CNG performance, the company-fitted CNG engine could offer a fuel efficiency of 25-30km/kg. Furthermore, it will be equipped with a 1.5L petrol engine producing an output of 101.65bhp and 136.8Nm torque. The gearbox option could be offered 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. 

Maruti Suzuki has commenced and you can also pre-book the 2022 Brezza CNG at a token amount of Rs 11,000. Interested customers can visit an Arena showroom or the official website to pre-order the SUV.
