Google Pixel Fold has been creating quite a buzz on the internet for some days. This will be the first-ever foldable smartphone from the company and it is rumoured to be powered by the Google Tensor G2 processor. A publication known as Front Page Tech has leaked some renders of the Google Pixel Fold as well.

The Google Pixel Fold is expected to roll out pretty soon and the launch date, pricing and some specs of the device have been leaked too. Here are these three leaked details we learned about Google Pixel Fold so far:

Google Pixel Fold launch date

Google is launching the affordable version of the Google Pixel 7 series namely the Google Pixel 7a at the Google I/O developer conference. The event will take place on May 10 in California. The tech giant might also reveal the Google Pixel Tablet and Google Pixel Buds Pro but along with that, it is also rumoured that the company could also launch the Google Pixel Fold in the same event. 

Google Pixel Fold specifications

The Pixel Fold could be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 Chipset as mentioned above. Along with that, it might be packed with a larger battery in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, which is expected to last 24 hours on a single charge and 72 hours in low-power mode. 

The foldable device will reportedly weigh 283 grams and could be equipped with a water-resistant body. 

The Google Pixel Fold is rumoured to feature a 5.8-inch cover display, with a 7.6-inch foldable display. 

Google Pixel Fold price and availability

Google Pixel Fold is reportedly launching on May 10 and it will reportedly be available for purchase from June 27 onward from Google’s store. The foldable device is expected to be launched at a price of $1,700 (approx ₹1,40,000). The tech giant might also offer a free Pixel Watch along with the Google Pixel Fold to the buyers.
