2. Per-icon customisation

Among the various new visual changes on MIUI 14, the option to customize each icon’s design and size is indeed cool. 

3. Disable power menu access from the lockscreen

One way to prevent bad actors and mischievous people with unwarranted access to your Xiaomi phone is disabling the power menu access toggle which stops allowing power menu access when the device is locked.

4. Incognito button

You can turn on the incognito button from the Quick Settings drawer which suspends the location, microphone and camera access to all apps on the device in one click. 

5. Extract text from images

You can also use the default Gallery app on your Xiaomi phone to copy text from photos. This can be a very handy feature.
