JioPhone Next specs revealed; Here are details – Smartprix
Reliance has announced JioPhone Next back in June as India’s most affordable smartphone. During its first announcement, the company has only shown the phone’s design without revealing its features. Now, the device has appeared with a few key specs. These details have surfaced ahead of the phone’s scheduled sale from September 10.
To recall, Reliance is has been developing the JioPhone Next in collaboration with Google. Mishaal Rahman from XDA Developers has posted a thread of tweets revealing the major sets of features. Let’s find out the details.
JioPhone Next Revealed Specs
The JioPhone Next comes with a thick bezels display having a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The phone has an 8MP camera on the front and a 13MP rear camera. It will be powered by an entry-grade Qualcomm 215 processor clocked at 1.3GHz speed. While there’s no mention of memory configuration, it is expected to settle with 2GB RAM and up to 32GB internal storage.

At the software, the JioPhone Next has been shown with a message ‘Created with Google’ on the boot screen. It will run on the Go Edition based on Android 11 out of the box. Additionally, Mr. Rahman shares that the Jio smartphone will ship pre-installed with Google Duo. Also, the device will be integrated with Snapchat and the latest version of Google Camera Go.

The JioPhone Next has been already confirmed to support Google Assistant, language translation, built-in AR filters, night mode, and more. Also, it could support a dual 4G sim.
