Roma reach agreement to terminate Pastore’s contract
The
Argentine
midfielder
has
been
plagued
by
injuries
since
joining
the
Serie
A
club
from
Paris
Saint-Germain
for
€24.7million
in
June
2018.
Pastore
underwent
left
hip
surgery
12
months
ago
and
played
just
five
times
for
the
Giallorossi
last
season.
The
playmaker
made
only
37
appearances
during
his
time
with
the
club,
scoring
four
goals,
and
the
32-year-old
is
now
free
to
find
a
new
club.
The
club
can
confirm
that
an
agreement
has
been
reached
with
Javier
Pastore
for
the
mutual
termination
of
his
