Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League story trailer
The new story trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League shows the Task Force X, which includes Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. The anti-heroes are recruited from Arkham Asylum to fight an alien threat in Metropolis. But their mission gets changed as soon as they reach Metropolis, and now they have an even bigger task at hand — killing the corrupted version of the Justice League. The trailer shows corrupted Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern fighting against the Task Force X. It also features Wonder Woman, who is seemingly uncorrupted since she can be seen fighting Superman. LexCorp seems to be a part of the Suicide Squad story in some regard too, and there’s also a version of Batmobile in the trailer. Finally, the trailer focuses on the game’s version of The Penguin, who gets pranked by our anti-heroes over and over again.
Gotham Knights Court of Owls Story Trailer
The Gotham Knights — Court of Owls story trailer begins with a voiceover from The Penguin, wherein he warns that Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood don’t stand a chance against the dangerous secret society, the Court of Owls. It features several actions scenes with the Batfamily and the Talons, who serve as the assassins for the Court of Owls. The trailer offers a glimpse at various elements from Gotham Knights including dungeons and a mysterious Bat Signal. DC dropped a separate behind-the-scenes featurette for Gotham Knights that incudes WB Montreal devs, as well as the creators of the Court of Owls, Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, and Jim Lee. They come together to discuss the inspirations behind the Court of Owls.
Although the exact launch dates for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights aren’t revealed yet, they are on track to release in 2022.
