Redmi Note 11: Redmi Note 11 series will not ditch this popular feature – Times of India
The Redmi Note 11 series will come with the 3.5mm audio jack which many of the current mid-range phone models do not come with. Xiaomi CEO himself confirmed this with a post on Weibo, as per a report by GizmoChina.
Some of us have still not gotten used to the absence of the headphone jack and it hurts every time you have to connect a Bluetooth headset after taking a call. The 3.5mm headphone jack is a kind of innovation in the smartphone industry that does not need further innovation to stay relevant.
The Redmi Note 11 series will reportedly start at CNY 1199 (about $187), with the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, the priciest of the lot, may retail at CNY 2499 (~$391), which would make it the costliest Redmi Note model ever.
Coming to the specs of the smartphone series, the Redmi Note 11 series is expected to feature Samsung AMOLED displays with high refresh rate support. The phones will sport triple rear camera setups and also have side-mounted fingerprint scanners. The Pro+ variant is rumoured to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 920 processor.
Retention of the headphone jack in the Redmi Note 11 series is certainly good news for audiophiles who want a mid-range phone from a trusted brand with the option to connect a wired headset.
