PSN down? PlayStation Network issues hit, trophies and error codes
PSN down reports are on the rise today, with PlayStation Network users reporting issues with trophies, receiving error codes and having problems with their friend list.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered a spike in PSN down reports today.
At the time of writing, Down Detector has recorded a peak of over 400 PSN down reports.
According to Down Detector stats, the vast majority of reported PSN issues are to do with PlayStation Network server connection.
So far though the official PSN status website says all system are running normally.
As the reported PSN issues hit users took to social networking site Twitter to talk about the problems they were facing.
One tweeted: “PSN server down”.
While another posted: “Anyone having issues with the PSN on @PlayStation? I have been having issues with the friends list. Is the server down?”
One added: “Just got this code while trying to connect to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PS4. Website says all services are up and running, though. #psn #psndown @AskPlayStation”.
And another wrote: “Sony must be doing something with PSN. The other day we had all PS4 trophies showing up as PS3 and now trophies are down completely.”
