ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group B Day 5 ends, top 3 teams qualify for round 3 as league moves onto second round
The ESPL 2021 is India’s first franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and eSports division of India Today Group. The tournament features teams from across the country and a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 to be distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled for August 29, 2021.

ESports Premier League 2021 Day 5 ended with the conclusion of Level 1 Group B Round 1. The league now moves onto its second round where the top teams from Round 1 will compete against each other to secure a spot in the top teams of Group B and move to round 3.
A total of 12 matches were played on the first day of Group B round 2. Four groups had their matches on the first day, where each group played a total of three games in different maps. The top three teams from each match have qualified for the round three qualifiers.

ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group B Round 2 Match Overview
Top Legacy finished at the number one spot in the overall standings with a total of 122 points. The team took two booyah’s out of the three matches played. Tycoons eSports took the second spot with a total of 84 points. They were the highest kill leaders in the overall standings. Cranky Yankees also qualified for the next round by finishing at the 3rd spot.
There was no pure domination seen in the group 2 matches. The top 2 teams of the overall standings got the same points. Both the teams scored a total of 108 points but Rejected X took the number one spot for its high kills. Never Settle took the 3rd spot with a total of 78 points.
TSG Extreme completely dominated the group 3 matches, scoring a total of 178 points. The team took 98 kills after competing in all the 3 maps. Phycho Gaming and Only North Zone finished at the second and third position respectively. Lutox were the table toppers of the BR2M4 round. The team took a total of 136 points including the 66 kill points. Besides Lutox, Team OBT and Captain’s also qualified for the Round 3 stage.
ESPL 2021 group stage matches will be live-streamed on various platforms including Disney+Hotstar and Youtube.
