Xiaomi 13 and iQOO 11 to launch on December 8: Here are their newly leaked specs | Digit

Earlier this week, news broke that the launch events for the Xiaomi 13 and iQOO 11 (both flagship smartphones from their respective brands) had been cancelled right before the launch date. While the companies had not confirmed why this was the case, the alleged reason was that it was out of respect for the sudden death of the former President, Jiang Zemin. At the time of cancelling the events, the companies had not revealed any information regarding the new launch date. However, now, they’ve stated that the two smartphones will launch on 8th December.

Xiaomi 13 leaked features

Leaked renders of the Xiaomi 13 models give us a fair indication of what to expect from them. Based on the images, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has a protruding camera model that will house a floating lens that contains 3 Leica sensors. The functionality of this lens will be such that it allows the lens elements to adjust in order to take the best possible image, even when capturing objects that are 10-cm close.

The  Xiaomi 13 is believed to have a 6.73-inch OLED screen with a 2K resolution. The display may have a 120Hz refresh rate along with 1920Hz pulse width modulation. It is also believed that it will have a 4820mAh battery that has 50W wireless charging support along with 120W wired fast charging.

While the features above are based on rumours, the brand has confirmed a few specifications as well. The smartphone will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The Xiaomi 13 models will run the MIUI 14.

iQOO 11 leaked features

The iQOO 11 will run on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC (this has been confirmed by Qualcomm). It is also believed to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3200×1440 pixel resolution. The smartphone may also house a 50MP primary camera accompanied by a 16MP and an 8MP support sensors. The selfie camera could be a 13MP sensor.

Other highlight features that you could expect are up to 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, 4880mAh battery with 120W fast charging, IR controller and an underdisplay fingerprint reader.
