Jude Bellingham to Man Utd – Ten Hag blow, Keane stance, United fuming
Bellingham has been playing regular first-team football since the age of 16, but this campaign he has truly established himself as one of Dortmund’s key men. With four goals in five Champions League games and three more in the Bundesliga, the teenager was expected to make an impression at the World Cup.
If anything, he has surpassed expectations with stellar showings against Iran and Wales in Group B, before playing a key role in the dismantling of Senegal on Sunday. With Bellingham’s help, England are into the quarter-finals and another big performance against France would only thrust him further into the spotlight.
With Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid also in the mix, Express Sport takes you through all you need to know about the possibility of Bellingham heading to Old Trafford…

Roy Keane stance
The Irishman knows a thing or two about players with the ability to make the cut at Old Trafford, having won seven Premier League titles with United as a key member of their midfield. Keane is a tough man to please but he waxed lyrical about Bellingham after England’s 3-0 win over Senegal on Sunday, in which Bellingham set up Jordan Henderson for the game’s opening goal.
“He’s going to be a superstar that kid,” Keane told ITV. “The word we keep saying, ‘maturity’, it’s like he’s played 100 times for England – fantastic performance. I’ve not seen a young midfielder play like that for years.”
Erik ten Hag blow
Although a move for Bellingham would undoubtedly please manager Ten Hag, the Dutchman may be forced to pursue other options. In a huge blow to the Red Devils, Sky Germany claim that they have ‘hardly any chance’ of pulling off the transfer and they are currently ‘out of the race’.
Man City, Real Madrid and Liverpool are still in the running and the midfielder’s budding bromance with Henderson has given Reds supporters cause for optimism regarding Jurgen Klopp’s chances of landing his top target in 2023.
