Apple iPhone 15 series has hit the rumour mill again and this time it’s Jeff Pu, a tech analyst of Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities who has claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are gonna roll out with some new features like a titanium frame, volume buttons with haptic feedback and increased RAM of 8GB, unlike iPhone 14 series which had 6GB RAM.

Jeff Pu on a research note for Hong Kong investment firm Haitong International Securities has also outlined the expected specifications of the iPhone 15 series such as an A17 Bionic chip with 8GB of RAM. Meanwhile, in iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, he expects an A16 Bionic chip and 6GB of RAM. All four models are expected to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X70 modem for 5G and LTE.

Jeff Pu has tipped the camera specifications as well. He said the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope technology for increased optical zoom and iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be featuring a 48-megapixel rear lens. No discussion on the camera specs of the iPhone 15 Pro.

For display sizes of the iPhone 15 lineup, Jeff Pu expects the models to roll out with a 6.1-inch iPhone 15, 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max. iPhone 15 series is also rumoured to roll out with a USB-C type port and not a lightning port as Europe officially mandated the use of USB-C for all smartphones.

Basically, all these specifications were previously rumoured except the rumour of increased RAM. However, no information has been officially announced by Apple about the new features.
