Fans call Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village a ‘scam’
There is some controversy regarding the film. Fans across Twitter and Reddit had issues with how much content the film pulls from the original series. Fans expected that the film would offer more content from the next Demon Slayer arc, but it apparently contained a lot of retelling from the previous seasons.
There were some fans who even called the anime film a “cash grab” and a “scam.” Reviews on IMDB also state that “more than half” of the film is season 2’s episodes.
However, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village is sure to flock in anime fans to cinemas. Jujutsu Kiasen 0 was a success in India, and given how popular Demon Slayer is, it wouldn’t be surprising if we see the same happen for this film.
