Reality check: Women’s safety apps promise many things. Do they deliver?

While emergency apps are not a panacea for the complex problem of women’s safety, they can nevertheless be a useful tool when used in conjunction with other strategies and interventions. ET Prime checked out most popular safety apps with the help of at least a dozen women to understand what works and what doesn’t. Here’s what we found out.
