OPPO Find X6, Find X6 Pro launch date confirmed; design, camera teased

The OPPO Find X6 series will likely consist of the vanilla OPPO Find X6, the OPPO Find X6 Pro, and the OPPO Find X6 Lite, which might have a separate launch. On top of confirming the launch date, OPPO has also released a bunch of promotional posters and videos for the OPPO Find X6 series, which reveal the design language of the devices. Let’s take a look.

OPPO Find X6 launch date confirmed, design showcased

As seen in the promotional poster above, the OPPO Find X6 series will launch on March 21st, 14:00 PM local time (11:30 AM IST) in China. Though not officially confirmed, the OPPO Pad 2 might tag along as well. Coming back to the poster, we can clearly see the slot for a periscope camera, which could potentially offer up to 100x zoom. Plus, the camera module of the device will feature a large ring all around. The rear of the device appears to be made up of a leather-like material, which, in all likelihood, could be some sort of vegan leather. There is a promotional video as well, which gives us a brief glimpse of the Hasselblad branding at the very middle of the camera module.

Moving on, the brand has also teased the night camera capabilities of the device via a promotional video. The Weibo port (sort of) capitalizes on the ongoing Moon Shot debate, and claims that the OPPO Find X6 Pro will not only be able to take excellent moon shots, but will also pay equal attention to other objects and human subjects in the shot.

It remains to be seen whether the OPPO Find X6 series arrives in India or not. Given the brand’s past trends, the chances of that happening are fairly minute, but since OPPO launched its OPPO Find N2 Flip a little while ago in India, we can expect the OPPO Find X6 series to receive similar treatment.

OPPO Find X6 Pro specifications (expected)

The OPPO Find X6 Pro is said to feature a 6.8-inch 2K 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will likely be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. In terms of cameras, we can expect the device to house a 50MP + 50MP + 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie snapper. Lastly, the device will likely feature a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
