Asus ROG Phone 7 launch: More details
As per the poster, the gaming smartphone will be launched in Taipei, Berlin, India and New York. The poster is also promoting the upcoming phone as “One weapon to rule them all”.
The company hasn’t revealed the price, features or specs of the ROG Phone 7. However, the speculated details about the smartphone are already available online. According to a report by ET, the upcoming smartphone has been spotted on several benchmarking sites which reveals the key specifications and other details of the upcoming ROG Phone.
Asus ROG Phone 7: What to expect
Asus ROG Phone 7 lineup is speculated to include two smartphones — the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Rumours suggest that the vanilla model of the phone is likely to sport a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and is likely to support a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which will be backed by Adreno 740 GPU and up to 16 GB RAM.
For optics, the Asus ROG Phone 7 is expected to house a triple rear camera setup which will include — a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP macro unit. The upcoming smartphone is also likely to feature a 32 MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The upcoming smartphone is rumoured to pack a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The handset is also expected to run the ROG UI based on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.
