users were left in the dark, or forced to look out their window Tuesday, after the iPhone’s weather app stopped working.
The app started having trouble Monday at 11 p.m. EDT, according to Apple’s support website. By Tuesday afternoon, the site said that some users were still affected.
“This service may be slow or unavailable,” it said, without giving a reason for the outage.
Apple didn’t respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
On social media, people posted screenshots of their weather app with two dashes where the temperature usually is.
“We are aware of this and are working to restore service,” Apple responded.
