Joker: Folie à Deux Wraps Filming as Director Todd Phillips Shares Two New Images
Joker: Folie à Deux has officially wrapped filming, and to celebrate the moment director Todd Phillips has shared two new images of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn.
Phillips took to Instagram to share the news, saying he is so proud of the crew and that it is now time to lock himself away to finish the film with the team.
“That’s a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom. Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together.”
Joker: Folie à Deux will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024. We still don’t know much about the sequel to 2019’s Joker, but it was reported it will be a musical. It has been confirmed, however, that it will exist outside of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU, and will live in the DC Elseworlds.
Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn was given a first look back in February, and it follows her sharing the news of her joining the cast with a video of her and Joker dancing to old-timey music.
