Asus: Asus launches new ExpertBook B1 series business laptops in India: All the details – Times of India

Taiwan-based Asus has expanded its business laptop portfolio with the launch of the new ExpertBook B1 series in India. The lineup includes the 14-inch (B1402) and 15.6-inch (B1502) variants of the commercial laptop. Asus claims that these new ExpertBook series laptops are “slim, light, and highly versatile” and are “tailored for business”.
Commenting on the launch of the latest laptop series, Dinesh Sharma, Business Head of commercial PC and smartphone, at Asus India said, “At Asus, our vision is to innovate solutions and equip our Business customers with the latest and meaningful technologies to help them stay ahead of the curve. We are excited to introduce the latest segment-leading and true game-changer ExpertBook B1402 and B1502, laptops that are built to perform and engineered to endure.”
Sharma added, “ExpertBook B1402 / 1502 are affordable yet offer segment-leading performance, durability, convenience and security with unmatched features in the segment such as NumPad 2.0, Dual Display Out, 180-degree hinges which claims to have been tested 30,000 times, USB Type-C PD fast charging and comprehensive hardware security of TPM 2.0, RJ 45 port, Kensington Lock and optional IR Camera.”
Asus ExpertBook B1 series business laptops: Price and availability
The company has not revealed the prices of the latest lineup of business laptops. However, Asus has mentioned that both ExpertBook B1402 and B1502 laptop models will be available at leading Commercial PC channel partners.

These new laptops come certified with the latest military-grade standard. The 14-inch variant features the Asus NumberPad.
These laptops are powered by up to 12th gen Intel Core processors and feature dual exhaust vents for accelerated cooling and performance. The laptop models also come with Iris Xe integrated graphics, coupled with up to 48GB of upgradable RAM and PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

For connectivity, the Asus ExpertBook B1 series laptops have dual USB-C ports with 65W USB-C PD charging. These models also feature RJ-45 ports with status LEDs, USB-A ports and an HDMI port.
These laptops also have a 180-degree ‘lay-flat’ design, shielded webcam, dedicated TPM 2.0, secure MAC-binding over RJ-45, Kensington lock and a Numpad 2.0 touchpad.
The ExpertBook B1 laptops also support high-fidelity audio with Dirac audio tuning. These models also support Asus’ two-way AI noise-cancelling technology. The laptops also employ machine learning to eliminate background sounds, both in single-presenter and multi-presenter modes.
