Sky fans have hours left to get ‘lowest ever’ TV and broadband price

If your TV and broadband bills are making a massive dent in your monthly finances it might be worth considering a switch to something new. Sky is currently running an eye-catching promotion which includes premium TV channels, Netflix plus full broadband access at its lowest-ever price.

It’s an impressive offering but to take advantage you will need to be prepared to get your fix of nightly entertainment via the web rather than a satellite dish – you’ll also need to be quick as the deal ends tomorrow, April 20.

This cut-priced plan includes a Sky Stream box which tucks under your TV and brings content to the big screen via an internet connection. That has its advantages as there’s no fussy installation and the picture quality won’t get affected by bad weather such as storms. Other features include a diddy design which can fit in the palm of your hand along with a remote that gets backlit keys for easier nighttime usage.

Although there’s no hard disk tucked inside, Stream can store content via cloud recordings and catch up players plus there are all the most popular streaming apps pre-installed.

Along with that new box, those signing up will also get standard broadband and Netflix thrown in as well.

The deal also includes 59Mbps broadband, which is more than enough to watch 4K content, browse the web and send a few emails.

However, this is probably not the best option for you if you have a busy home full of family members streaming games, music and movies. Luckily, you have the option of upgrading the £39 deal with Sky also offering its 500Mbps speeds for those happy to pay a little more.

The good news is that under the latest promotion, this deal will only cost you £49, saving you £11 every month. There is an 18-month contract to sign, although Sky has ditched the usual sign-up fee so it’s completely free to join.
