Fans of the Metal Gear series can rejoice as it seems that a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 is in the works. Moreover, the game will seemingly not be a PlayStation exclusive and will be released for Xbox and PC as well.
The Metal Gear Solid: 3 Remake rumours aren’t new at all, and have been circulating for quite some time. The rumour first came through a report by VGC back in 2021, where Virtuous Games was hinted to be the developer of this remake. Moreover, J. Scott Rakozy, composer of Hogwarts Legacy’s score, also teased an MGS project through his Instagram recently.
Now Jez Corden from Windows Central, as well as Insider Gaming, both reported that an MGS 3 remake is indeed in the works. We don’t know who is bringing us this remake, but the fact that it will not be a PlayStation exclusive has also been reported. Furthermore, both reports also point towards a reveal announcement for the remake, which could come as soon as the PlayStation Showcase, scheduled for May 25, 1:30 AM IST.
