Man Utd eye £7m bargain, Arsenal bid rejected, Chelsea want £52m ace

The summer transfer window is now just a matter of weeks away, with several Premier League clubs thought to be hard at work in drawing up their respective plans of attack for the end-of-season market. The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are likely to be among the division’s biggest spenders later this year and plenty of rumours have already been swirling with less than a month remaining until the current campaign draws to a close.

United are said to be hoping to improve several positions over the course of this summer, with Erik ten Hag thought to be eyeing the addition of a new midfielder alongside a first-choice striker between now and the start of next season. The Red Devils have been linked with a host of big names over the last few weeks but have also been tipped to make a cut-price move for Royal Antwerp starlet Arthur Vermeeren after reportedly making contact with his representatives over a potential summer switch.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have recruited exceptionally well in recent transfer windows and will be looking to make several key additions to their squad when the bidding opens next month. Chelsea will also be expected to spend heavily on new players over the coming weeks after splashing over £600million in the market since co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali took over from Roman Abramovich last year.
