Vodafone Idea has introduced four internal roaming postpaid plans. The postpaid plan starts at Rs 599 and goes up to Rs 4,499. The service provider also mentions that it is the only operator offering unlimited benefits on international roaming. All the four plans introduced by the service provider offer unlimited data, calling, free roaming calls and exclusive customer service.
Vi also mentioned that it has partnered with global service providers across destinations to ensure that Vi users get seamless connectivity wherever they travel. Vi to soon rollout 5G services
As per a senior official from the Department of Telecommunications, Vodafone Idea, the third-largest telecommunications company in India, is set to launch its 5G network in June. The company has reportedly secured funding by collaborating with banks, as reported by the New Indian Express.
The report indicates that Vodafone Idea is currently in the advanced stages of discussions regarding fundraising, and a resolution is expected to be reached by June. “I think Vodafone Idea’s discussion with the banks to raise funds is positive. The telecom service provider will announce its fundraising next month. As the company has maintained that it would start deploying a 5G network once funding is in place, I am expecting the company to start deploying 5G in June itself,” told a senior official of the Department of Telecommunication (DoT).
