Nothing Phone (2) expected design
Alleged renders of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) have already appeared online. Shared by Smartprix, one can see that the LED lights cover more area on the phone’s back panel in the leaked images. The lighting elements surrounding the camera module can also be redesigned to give an enhanced ‘visual appeal’.
The smartphone is said to come with curved edges to offer a better hand-feel and grip to the users. According to rumours, Nothing Phone (2) will be offered in two colour variants – Black and White.
Nothing Phone (2) expected features
Nothing Phone (2) is said to house a 4,700mAH battery and a 6.7-inch FHD+ display. It may run on Android 13 based custom UI on the top.
Nothing CEO Carl Pei previously said that the Nothing Phone (2) will be ‘more premium’ than the current Nothing smartphone. The handset is expected to be priced around ₹40,000 in India. Pei has also confirmed that the handset will also be launched in the US later this year.
Nothing Phone (2) to be manufactured in India
Nothing India VP and GM Manu Sharma has confirmed to the news agency PTI that the Phone (2) handset will be made in India and will be sold in the country itself. In a statement to PTI, Sharma said “Phone (2) is going to be manufactured in India – Tamil Nadu. The phones manufactured in India will be for consumption in India.”
Nothing Phone (2) to be powered by Qualcomm processor
Nothing has also confirmed the processor for the upcoming Nothing Phone (2). The tech company has announced that it has collaborated with Qualcomm to equip the phone with the powerful Snapdragon processor. As announced by the company, Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset, allegedly the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
