Airtel: Airtel Payments Bank to offer customers health Insurance up to Rs 5,00,000 – Times of India
Airtel Payments bank has partnered Care Health Insurance to offer health insurance to its customers. Through this agreement, Airtel Payments Bank aims to deliver comprehensive and customised Health Insurance offering through the banking section of the Airtel Thanks App.
Airtel Payments bank’s customers can avail coverage for the entire family with a wide range of sum-insured options, ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5,00,000. Additionally, it covers benefits including coverage for pre-existing ailments and day care treatment.
“We are delighted to talk over our tie up with Care Health Insurance to offer a range of choices in health insurance to our customers. It will enable us to take benefits of health insurance to millions of underinsured and uninsured Indians through our extensive distribution network and digital reach. With the rising cost of medical expenses, having a health insurance cover allows you to protect your loved ones,” said Ganesh Ananthanarayanan, chief operating officer, Airtel Payments Bank.
How to enroll
Customers can enroll for the health insurance scheme on the Airtel Thanks App and pay using an Airtel Payments Bank account, through Net Banking, or debit cards of other banks. Customers can also enroll for this scheme by visiting the nearest Airtel Payments bank.

Airtel 5G services now available in Kochi’s water metro stations
Meanwhile, Airtel has rolled out its 5G services to the routes of the Kerala Water Metro service between the High Court-Vypin terminals and the Vyttila-Kakkanad terminals. To use Airtel’s 5G service, individuals must be located in a city or area that has 5G coverage. To stay updated on notifications and alerts regarding 5G availability, users can refer to the Airtel Thanks app.
