The Esports Club Announces TEC Arena Connect, a Series of LAN Tournaments for CS: GO, FIFA, and More

Leading gaming and esports organisation of India, The Esports Club (TEC), has announced the launch of their latest initiative, TEC Arena Connect. They plan to tour 12 Tier 2 cities from across the country, organising gaming experiences like LAN Tournaments, and interaction opportunities with celebrity creators and influencers. They recently wrapped up their debut edition of the TEC Arena Connect in Coimbatore. Read on for more details.

About TEC Arena Connect

TEC Arena Connect will be taking place in 12 Tier 2 cities from India including Pune, Kolkata, Cochin, Vishakhapatnam, and Ahmedabad. The first edition of the event took place in Coimbatore on June 18th.

Presented by Alienware and Intel, with Maverik as Talent Partner, TEC Arena Connect aims to promote and nurture the gaming community of the Tier 2 cities of India. The plan to do so by organising a series of LAN tournaments in titles like CS:GO, Krafton’s Road to Valor: Empires, FIFA, Mortal Kombat and more. Each city has a total prize pool of INR 3 Lakhs up for grabs via its various tournaments. Additionally, TEC Arena will also provide a platform to interact with some of the top creators and influencers from the gaming community of the region.

TEC Arena Connect Coimbatore Edition

TEC Arena Connect made its debut in Coimbatore earlier on Sunday, June 18, 2023, reportedly attracting a crowd of over 2000 gamers. The first LAN tournament organised was in CS:GO, which was won by 7SEA Esports. The event was also attended by top-tier esports teams such as Team Tamilas and Autobotz, along with influencers like Payal Gaming, Tamil Gaming, Vadhiyar, and MidfailY.

Details of the upcoming TEC Arena Connect

The Esports Club has already announced the next city to be hosting TEC Arena Connect. Pune will be TEC Arena Connect’s next destination, which is scheduled to be held on July 2nd, 2023. Interested participants will need to register for the event via the form available online, free of cost.

It will be a 9-hour affair at Pune’s Mauli Garden (Baner Road), from 10 am to 7pm IST. According to the details available, Pune’s TEC Arena Connect has a combined prize pool of INR 1,00,000 for titles Road to Valor, FIFA 23 and Mortal Kombat 11. The CS:GO LAN event however has a prize pool of INR 2,00,0000 which will see the top 4 teams from the online qualifiers, battle it out amongst themselves in-person.
