GTA 6 from Rockstar Games could launch in early December
If there’s something we know about Grand Theft Auto 6 ( or simply, GTA 6), it’s the fact that we don’t know what’s real and what’s not. It has been a decade since GTA 5 rolled it and we have been waiting for its successor – the GTA 6, to drop. However, we might be close as people have started leaking out details on its announcement (at least rumored) that it could be December 6 while a different report puts it on December 12.
According to Insider Gaming, Capcom USA’s QA team member NIma revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that they have received an email from Rockstar Games regarding the trailer launch. The sender handle says “RGSYNC PR” and the email subject reads “[Important] Unveiling the Next Chapter.” which is enough to ignite curiosity among GTA fans.
For the unversed, Capcom USA has had a relationship with Rockstar Games ever since 2023 when the GTA 3 was launched in 2003 followed by GTA 4 in 2008. Unfortunately, Nima didn’t share the content of the email (which could have helped a lot to crack the mystery), we don’t have any other title in the news which means it’s the GTA 6 in the talks.
There’s a lot of buzz around its launch in early December. There’s upcoming The Game Awards on December 6, a potential date when Rockstar Games could launch the much-anticipated game of all time.
In order news, a user reached out to British retailer Argos to which, they replied “I have been informed the software Grand Theft Auto VI for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 will be available to pre-order on December 12, 2003, confirmed to us by the distributors”, which seems like a more credible source pointing out towards the launch date.
Let’s take this information with a pinch of salt even though the Rockstar Games pointed out a trailer launch in early December probably followed by pre-orders soon after.
