A new Nintendo Switch with more powerful hardware coming in 2024 | Digit

Nintendo is planning to release their next-gen handheld gaming console in the Q2 of 2024 to avoid stock shortages which were faced by other gaming console makers. The new console is likely to support portable gaming similar to the Nintendo Switch, but might feature an LCD screen only instead of an OLED to reduce costs. However, there is no official information on the gaming console.

Experts believe the 2024 launch fits Nintendo’s usual pattern of launching new hardware ‘mid-cycle’ compared to competitors like PlayStation and Xbox. Nintendo might introduce a stronger lineup this time than the original Switch.
