Ahead of RCB’s crunch game against SRH, ‘Biryani time’ for Virat Kohli and Co at Mohammed Siraj’s home

Ahead of their key game against SRH, RCB’s Mohammed Siraj hosted his teammates at his new house. Images from the dinner event were shared by RCB with the caption “Hyderabadi Biryani time! The boys took a pitstop at Miyan’s beautiful new house last night!”. In one of the images, Virat Kohli could be seen posing with family members of the RCB pacer. In another, the RCB team could be seen seated together in the drawing room. Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking at winning its crunch game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the city of pearls to strengthen their claim for an IPL play-off berth. Currently, Royal Challengers Bangalore are at the fifth position in the points table with six wins and six losses in 12 matches and face two must-win matches to guarantee their play-off spot.
SRH is languishing at the ninth spot with eight points from 12 matches.

RCB skipper Faf du Plessis is the top run scorer so far in IPL23 while would be looking to produce his best against SRH and help his side’s cause. Du Plessis has amassed 631 runs from 12 games at an average of 57.36 while Kohli438 runs at an average of 39.81. RCB will also be looking forward to a good outing from Glenn Maxwell, who has hit five half-centuries this IPL.

On the bowling front, the onus would again be on Wayne Parnell, Mohammed Siraj nd Michael Bracewell to deliver the goods. Mohammed Siraj has scalped 12 wickets in 12 matches for RCB.

In the previous outing, RCB decimated Rajasthan Royals by 112 runs. Riding on Du Plessis and Maxwell’s back-to-back fifties, RCB posted 171 for 5 and then bundled out RR for a paltry 59. Wayne Parnell (3/10) was the top performer for RCB with the ball while Michael Bracewell (2/16), Karn Sharma (2/19) and Mohammed Siraj (1/10) also played their part.
