Ahsoka Tano Character Arc
The Mended Light channel on YouTube features real-life therapist, Jonathan Decker who analyses characters from pop culture to highlight how their stories can help people heal, understand and move on. One of the recent episodes (spotted by Screen Rant) featured Ahsoka and her journey throughout the Clone Wars. Decker highlighted how she left the Oder when she was wrongly accused of a bombing at the Jedi Temple. She was also betrayed by the Clones as well, just like all Jedi when Order 66 was executed. At the same time, Ahsoka had learnt that her best friend and mentor Anakin had fallen to the dark side.
Despite her whole journey being plagued by betrayal, Ahsoka never let any of it hurt her integrity. Decker also pointed out that it was Ahsoka’s integrity that allowed her to heal and rise above every hardship she faced. The therapist mentions in his video that Ahsoka could have easily let the wrongful accusations and betrayals create a seed of self-doubt and guilt in her but she never allowed that to happen. Instead, she believed in herself and despite everything that transpired, she never let any of it affect her integrity.
