Airtel 5G Plus service launched in Guwahati: Full list of locations and how to enable 5G – Times of India
After rolling out its 5G services in Gurugram last week, Airtel has now announced the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Guwahati. The service provider has announced that Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to build its network and complete the roll out.
The Airtel 5G Plus service is presently operating at G S Road, Guwahati medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Dispur College, Ganeshguri, Christian Basti, Sree Nagar, Zoo Road, Lachit Nagar, Ulubari, Bhangagarh and Beltola and few other select locations. The telecom operator also added that customers with 5G enabled devices will enjoy high speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the roll out is more widespread.
“Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more,” said the company in a statement.

Airtel has also updated its Thanks app which now allows users to check 5G compatibility of their smartphone. Users can also check the availability of Airtel 5G Plus in their location with the help of the app. Just make sure that you have a 5G-enabled handset to use the 5G services.
