Airtel expands 5G Plus services to Patna: Here are the locations it is available – Times of India

Airtel today announced the launch its 5G network in the capital city of Bihar, Patna. With the introduction of the 5G Plus service in Patna, Airtel’s 5G network has now been expanded to 12 cities and the Pune airport.
Where is Airtel 5G available in Patna
Currently, the 5G network will be available in select areas across the city, including Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Patna Railway Station, Dak Bunglow, Maurya Lok, Bailey Road, Boring Road, City Centre Mall, Patliputra Industrial Area.
The telecom operator plans to make 5G services available in other areas of Patna soon.
Airtel users flying in or out of the city will be able to use the 5G services at the Patna airport terminal. The Patna airport is the fifth airport terminal to have Airtel’s 5G services, along with Bangalore, Pune, Nagpur and Varanasi.
How to use Airtel 5G Plus services in Patna
Users will not need a separate SIM card to use Airtel 5G Plus network on their handset. Existing 4G SIMs are compatible with 5G networks; thus, you only need a 5 G-supported smartphone. Further, the existing 4G tariff plans would be applicable until the completion of the 5G roll-out in the country.

We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.” said Anupam Arora, CEO of Bharti Airtel, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, upon the launch of 5G Plus service in Patna.
