Alcaraz shares firm belief after Saudi Arabia hold talks to invest in tennis

“I mean, they have the power to have a lot of tournaments. I have never played a tournament, an official one. But, let’s see how it is gonna be.

“I have no doubts that I will play over there in the future.” His more pressing concern was a bit of rest and relaxation before trying to live up to his billing at SW19.

“I will have some days off to recover, to turn off my mind and be ready at the practice before Wimbledon,” he said.

But Alcaraz, who has never played professionally, has no doubt that eventually the money would talk.

“I have never been to the centre of London. I had no time. I was not able to visit the city. So have a walk around and visit the most important things in London.”

Alcaraz now has his eyes firmly set on Wimbledon, and ending Djokovic’s SW19 stranglehold – with the Serb having triumphed on four consecutive occasions.
