Alienware: Dell launches new Alienware and Inspiron laptops with 13th-generation Intel Core processors, RTX 40 series graphics in India – Times of India

Dell has announced the Alienware m18 and Alienware x16 R1 in India after showcasing it at CES 2023 earlier this year. Along with this, the company has also announced the new Inspiron 2-in-1 and Inpiron 16 laptops in the country.
The new range of consumer and gaming laptops from the company come with the latest 13th-generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX40 series GPUs. The Alienware m18 is the most powerful among all, while the Alienware x16 R1 is the thin and lightweight gaming device from the company. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Alienware and Inspiron laptops.
Alienware m18, Alienware x16 R1: Price, availability and specifications
The new Alienware laptops feature the company’s latest Legend 3.0 design, high refresh rate QHD displays with Dolby Vision and Dolby ATMOS-backed speakers with spatial sound support.
Both the Alienware devices feature advancements in the Alienware Cryo-tech thermal design including Element 31 upgrades, an expanded vapour chamber and four ultra-thin fans for up to 25% increased internal airflow.
Alienware m18 features an 18-inch QHD display with up to 165Hz refresh rate and is powered by up to 13th-generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processors and Nvidia RTX GeForce 4090 GPU with Nvidia Advanced Optimus and G-Sync support. The Alienware x16 R1, on the other hand, comes with up to 13th-generation Intel Core i9 H-series processors and RTX 40 series GPUs.
The company claims that the new m18 features the same footprint as the Alienware m17 laptop and comes with 14% more screen estate. The laptop supports up to 9TB of storage.
The Alienware x16 marks the comeback of the AlienFX touchpad which is basically the RGB lighting inside the trackpad which syncs with the light settings from across the device. It features a 6-speaker setup including two up-firing tweeters and a dual woofer setup for added bass effect. The x16 boasts 100 micro-LEDs on the rear stadium and is the first Alienware laptop enhanced with new AlienFX Scanner, Loop, and Rainbow lighting mods. The laptop also includes Alienware’s HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation technology, which can regulate graphics voltage up to 12-phases for sustained performance over long gaming sessions.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Alienware m18 starts at Rs 3,59,999, while the Alienware x16 R1 price starts at Rs 3,79,999. The new Alienware devices will be available for purchase starting April 12, 2023, across Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), large format retail and multi-brand outlets.
Dell Inspiron laptops: Price, availability and specifications
Dell has announced two new Inspiron laptops — Inspiron 16 and Inspiron 15 2-in-1 at the event today. The new Inspiron laptops are also powered by the latest 13th-generation Intel Core processors. The new devices also feature a new 16:10 aspect ratio display with slim bezels across all sides. In addition the laptops also come with features like Dolby ATMOS and spatial audio support, top-firing speakers, LPDDR5 RAM and fast SSDs.
Additionally, the onboard ExpressCharge technology claims that the laptops can be charred by up to 80% within an hour.
The Inspiron 16 2-in-1 comes with a 4K Ultra HD+ display and 360° hinge, you can transform your device into four different modes.
The Inspiron 16 price starts at Rs 77,990 and the Inspiron 16 2-in-1 price starts at Rs 96,990. The Inspiron devices will be available for purchase starting April 14, 2023, at Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), select large-format retail, and multi-brand outlets.
