Amazon is all set to hold its 2021 Annual fall hardware event today. At the event, the company is expected to announce several new hardware including new Echo devices, update to existing ones and more.

Unfortunately, Amazon won’t be live streaming the event and it is also an invite-only event. So, you can only watch, if you are invited.
Amazon Annual fall hardware event: What to expect
While Amazon hasn’t talked anything about the event or what they are planning to launch. We can expect to see several new Echo devices and updates to the existing devices at the event.
At the event, we can expect that Amazon will update the Echo smart speakers and displays that haven’t been updated in ages.
Based on last year launches, where the company introduced a dozen of new devices including the new spherical Echo Dot and Echo Dot clock along with the new Echo Show 10 with motorised base and auto framing feature, Amazon Ring, a drone security camera, Luna gaming service, two new Fire TV devices, etc.

Updated Echo devices
The first thing we are expecting is to see updates to Echo devices that haven’t received any updates in the last couple of years. The Echo Auto and Echo Studio come at the top of the list.
A new Echo smart display
Rumours suggest that Amazon will announce a new wall-mounted smart display featuring a massive 15-inch screen size. According to a report by Bloomberg, these displays can be mounted on a wall or kept on a stand. Feature-wise, the new Echo smart display is likely to offer the same features as its smaller counterparts.
Alexa-related updates
Like every year, we are expecting that Amazon will bring some new features along with some improvements to its smart assistant, Alexa. Features like Alexa Guard and support for more third-party devices are speculated to arrive.
Other device updates
Amazon has a wide portfolio of smart devices ranging from smart doorbells to Fire TV devices and Kindle. We are expecting updates and new devices in these categories as well.
