Amazon Great Freedom Festival Sale 2022: Best smartphone deals and offers under ₹40,000 | Digit
If you missed out on buying gadgets during the Prime Day Sale, the Amazon Great Freedom Festival Sale 2022 is now underway for Prime members. The sale will kick off for all users from August 6 and will go on until August 10. Amazon is offering an array of deals and offers on smartphones, electronics, accessories, home and kitchen appliances, TVs, fashion, and more.
Aside from leveraging flat discounts, users will also get discounts on select bank cards. SBI credit card holders will get an instant 10 per cent discount up to ₹2,000 on purchases. During the six-day shopping fiesta, users will also get up to ₹1,500 off on Credit EMI transactions. No-cost EMI has also been made available via Bajaj Finserv EMI cards, Amazon Pay, ICICI credit card, Amazon Pay Later, and other select debit and credit cards. The company is also providing exchange offers and free screen replacements (for Prime members) on certain products during the sale. Leveraging all these offers and flat discounts, users can get some pretty sweet deals on the products they’ve been eyeing.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G launched in India back in January at ₹39,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant. During the Great Freedom Festival sale, Amazon is offering a flat discount of ₹4,000 on the phone. If you choose to pay for the phone using a debit or credit card of any bank, Prime members will get a ₹5,000 instant discount, effectively making the price of the phone ₹30,999, which is a fantastic deal. There are some extra offers on SBI credit cards as well, bringing down the cost even further.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz Adaptive refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The Xiaomi 11T Pro features a 108 MP triple rear camera setup and runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
The OnePlus 10R 5G launched in India in May at ₹38,999 for the base variant. During the sale, you can get your hands on one of these for ₹34,999, making it the lowest price the phone has sold at on Amazon. Users with SBI credit cards looking to buy this phone with EMI transactions can get an instant discount of ₹1,250 as well.
The phone is packing eye-catching specifications and features such as a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max SoC, a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate, a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 80 W SuperVOOC support, and a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary camera. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE may have launched a while ago, but it is still a reliable smartphone to purchase in 2022. The device launched in India at a starting price of ₹55,999 and is now available to buy for ₹34,990 during the sale. Again, users with SBI credit cards buying the phone on EMI will get a discount of ₹1,250.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It comes with Android 11 out of the box with Samsung’s OneUI skin on top. With this phone, you get a capable triple camera setup consisting of a 12 MP primary lens, 12 MP ultrawide camera, and 8 MP telephoto shooter. The phone features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz fresh rate and a 4,500 mAh battery. The device is also IP68 rated.
The Mi 11X Pro 5G launched with a price tag of ₹39,990 in India, but during the Great Freedom Festival Sale, you can grab one of these at ₹34,999. Users with SBI credit cards buying the phone on EMI will get a discount of ₹1,250 while SBI credit card holders buying the phone without EMI will get a discount of ₹750. Do note though, that this is not the lowest price the Mi 11X Pro has sold at. Amazon was selling the phone as low as ₹29,999 in July. So, maybe it’s a better bet to wait for future sales to buy this device at a lower price.
The Mi 11X Pro rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with liquid cooling technology to handle the phone’s thermals. It has a 108 MP primary camera alongside ultrawide and macro lenses on the rear, and a 20 MP camera on the front. The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel supporting 120 Hz refresh rate. In March 2022, Samsung launched its Galaxy A53 device in India at ₹34,999 for the base 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model. The sale drops the price by ₹3,500, making the effective price ₹31,499. Like others, this device also comes with extra SBI credit card and no-cost EMI offers.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 comes equipped with the Exynos 1280 SoC alongside 8 GB RAM. It comes with Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top. You get a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, 120 Hz refresh rate support, a 64 MP primary camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone also supports 25 W charging and has an IP67 certified build.
Other phones under ₹40,000 such as the iQOO 9 SE (Buy here), iQOO Neo 6 5G (Buy here), Tecno Phantom X (Buy here), and Mi 11X (Buy here) are also available during the Great Freedom Festival sale but they aren’t discounted to an extent for us to wholeheartedly recommend purchasing them during the sale.
