Amazon ‘Prime Day’ Sale: Youth offer axes Prime subscription price by 50%

Amazon India is gearing up to hold its annual Prime Day sale on July 15 and 16, presenting a multitude of discounts and offers on various products. In addition to these enticing deals, the company has introduced a special youth offer for Prime subscriptions. This exclusive offer entails a 50 percent reduction in the price of Prime subscription for a specific age group of users.

Normally priced at Rs. 299 per month and Rs. 1,499 per year, the Prime subscription encompasses a range of benefits, including free delivery, early access to the sale, and access to Prime Video and Amazon Music.

The e-commerce giant has unveiled a Prime Youth offer tailored specifically for users aged between 18 and 24 years. Under this promotion, eligible users can enjoy a cashback of Rs. 150 on the monthly Amazon Prime subscription plan, and an impressive Rs. 750 cashback on the annual subscription plan.

For other users who do not fall within this age group, the regular Prime membership costs Rs. 299 per month and Rs. 1,499 per year. This incredible offer aims to make the benefits of Prime membership even more accessible to young customers.

To take advantage of this offer, users need to access the youth offer tab within the Amazon Android app and proceed to purchase a Prime membership. During this process, they can choose either a monthly or an annual plan and complete the payment. Subsequently, they will be asked to verify their age by providing the necessary documents.

Once the verification is successfully completed, eligible users will receive a cashback of Rs. 150 for the monthly subscription or Rs. 750 for the annual subscription. It’s important to note that age verification must be completed within 15 days of activating the membership. The cashback amount will be credited in the form of an Amazon Pay Gift Card.

With an Amazon Prime membership, users gain the benefit of reduced delivery charges and gain entry into Amazon’s premium entertainment platforms, including Prime Video and Amazon Music.
