Amazon Prime Gaming Now Live in India; All you need to know

Prime Gaming by Amazon is now available in India after a slip-up a few weeks prior. The gaming service is included with an Amazon Prime membership. It offers benefits such as free AAA video games for PC, in-game content, and discounts on games.

Earlier this month, a new landing page on Amazon’s website suggested the potential launch of Prime Gaming in India. Just days later, Amazon India updated its support pages to indicate that Prime Gaming will only include mobile game offers in India. However, the gaming service seems to have launched in its entirety in the country now. As part of the complete launch, the main Prime Gaming page is available now in India, with free games and in-game content available to claim.

Free in-game content available to claim includes a Prime Gaming Capsule for League of Legends, a Showdown Bundle for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, a Prime Gaming Pack #3 for FIFA 23, a Revenant Candy Bundle for Apex Legends, a Slay Ride Buddy for Valorant, and more.

Games such as Quake, Spinch, Desert Child, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Banners of Ruin among more are available to claim for free for a limited time.

However, history could repeat itself and the page could be taken down in the absence of an official announcement about the launch. IGN India have reached out to Amazon India about the launch of the service in India. We will update this space if we hear back from the company.

Other benefits of Prime Gaming include free trials of new games, access to premium features of streaming services such as Twitch, and discounts on gaming hardware and accessories. It remains to be seen if these benefits will come to India.
