Last to last month, Amazon revealed that the subscription prices of Amazon Prime membership are set to rise soon. From 14th December, the prices of monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions of Amazon Prime membership will increase. However, ahead of rising prices, the company has announced a promotional offer now with which you can buy a subscription plan of Amazon Prime membership at a discount of 50%. Let’s see how.

Get 50% discount on Amazon Prime subscription
According to the tweet above, people in the age group of 18-24 years of age in India can get the annual subscription of Prime membership for Rs. 499 instead of Rs. 999. But note, you first have to buy this subscription for the entire money i.e. Rs. 999 and later you will get a cashback of Rs. 500, which makes the effective cost Rs. 499. Here’s how it is to be availed:
- First you have to open the Amazon app on your phone.
- Now type Amazon youth offer in the search bar within the app.
- You will then see the page of the Amazon Youth offer.
- Sign in to it and buy prime membership. You will have to pay ₹999 using credit/debit card, net banking, etc.
- You will then have to verify your age with your Aadhaar Card as well as a photo.
- As soon as you verify, your cashback will be effective. It will be credited in your Amazon Pay balance within the next 48 hours.
