Android 13-based One UI 5 update is now available for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users in India – Times of India
Samsung began rolling out the OneUi 5.0 update based on Android 13 across the Galaxy S21 series. The series comprises– Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra models which received the update. The Fan Edition-based model– Samsung Galaxy S21 FE– launched earlier this year and was later included in the S21 series. The smartphone in India has now started receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update.
The update holds the firmware version G990EXXU3DVK4 and adds the latest OneUI 5.0 to the device. The security patch is still the old October 2022 patch which is integrated into the device.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users based in European countries received the update two weeks earlier. In the US, some of the carrier-locked units of the device were also updated to the OneUI 5.0 update.
However, the carrier-unlocked units of the phone are yet to receive the update in Canada, China and the US.
Here’s how users can download the OneUI 5.0 update based on Android 13.
1. Launch the Settings app on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE phone.
2. Scroll down and tap Software update.
3. Tap Download and Install.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was launched earlier this year just before the launch of the Galaxy S22 series. The smartphone is the Fan Edition version of last year’s launched Galaxy S21 series.
The smartphone is powered by Exynos 2100SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The handset boasts a 6.4-inch 120Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display.
Galaxy S21FE is equipped with a triple rear camera setup of a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary sensor and an 8MP nanosensor. The front camera module houses a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The device is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 25W charging support.
