Samsung has released the stable Android 13 OneUI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A22 5G in India. The update brings along the November security patch to the lower mid-range Galaxy phone. The device is reported to get the stable Android 13 version in other countries in the upcoming weeks.
As per a report by Sammobile, the update comes with firmware version A226BXXU5CVK9.
How to download the OneUI 5.0 update based on Android 13.
1. Open the Settings app on the Samsung Galaxy A22 phone.
2. Scroll down and tap Software update.
3. Tap Download and Install.
4. The phone will install the update and restart the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G price and specifications
Samsung launched the Galaxy A22 5G last year in two storage models. The base model offers 6GB RAM and costs Rs 19,999. The top-of-the-line model offers 8GB RAM and is priced at Rs 21,999. Both the variants come with a 128GB internal storage. The phone’s storage can be expanded to up to 1TB by a microSD card.
The Galaxy A22 5G sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. For photography, the Galaxy A22 5G offers a triple rear camera headlined by a 48MP main sensor. The main camera is paired with a 5MP ultra wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front is an 8MP sensor.
The Galaxy A22 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The device was launched with Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1. The phones can be purchased in three colour options: Grey, Mint and Violet.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy A22 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
