Android 14 will fix painful issue of ringtone and notification slider volume: Here’s how | Digit

In order to make it simpler for consumers to fine-tune their audio settings, Google has revealed that the most recent Android 13 QPR3 or 14 release would provide an additional dial for Ringtone and Notification volume.

Users had to use a single slider in prior Android releases to adjust the volume of both ringtones and notifications. However, there are signs that this might change in upcoming OS system updates.
