android: Android 13 beta is now available for these smartphones – Times of India
Google has been testing the Android 13 for quite some time now, and at I/O 2022 – its annual developer conference –, the company also released the second beta of the Android 13 for the Pixel smartphones. However, the Android 13 beta will also be available for other smartphones from manufacturers like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, etc. OEMs have announced the Android 13 beta programme or developer preview for their devices, giving more people a chance to taste the latest flavour of Android before it’s out for everyone.
As usual, the beta 2 will start rolling out for the Pixel smartphones starting today. To receive the Android 13 beta 2, users need to be enrolled in Google’s beta program or enrol themselves now to receive the beta update over the air. Once registered, users will also receive subsequent beta or stable releases as OTA updates.

Apart from announcing the beta 2 for its Pixel smartphones, Google also announced the developer preview program for different OEMs. The list includes smartphones and tablets from Asus, Lenovo, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Xiaomi, etc.
Here are the devices eligible for the Android 13 beta under the developer preview programme: Asus Zenfone 8, Lenovo Tab P12 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, Oppo Find X5 Pro, Realme GT 2 Pro, Vivo X80 Pro, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 5, Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G, Sharp Aquos Sense6 and ZTE Axon 40 Pro.
There is one thing to note Google would not be handling the updates for other OEMs. So, these OEMs might have a different update schedule than Google. Also, users would need to visit OEM’s website to register their devices in the beta programme, not Google’s beta page.
