Angry Birds: Red from the Game Franchise Plays Smash or Pass

The Angry Birds series is one of the biggest mobile gaming franchises to date, and the series also consists of the first game ever to be downloaded more than a billion times. The franchise has reached unimaginable heights of fame and the developers, Rovio, have released two movie adaptations too. Recently, it was reported that Sonic developers, SEGA, have now acquired Rovio for a sum of $776 million.

The official TikTok account for Angry Birds recently posted a video that’s both surprising and hilarious. Spotted by GameSpot, the Angry Birds TikTok account released a video of Red playing smash or pass on other video game characters as a promotional video for the franchise.

For those who do not know, smash or pass is a party game that became popular on the internet. Usually, players use different images of characters or real life personalities and decide whether they find them attractive or not. The video starts with Red featured in a PC gamer’s setup explaining to the viewers what he has planned for them. Unfortunately, the readers in India won’t be able to view the video as TikTok is banned in the country; however, this user has posted a YouTube short on their account with the whole Angry Birds smash and pass video.

The list of video game characters starts with Princess Zelda, who Red puts in the smash category immediately. Then Tracer from Overwatch gets a pass, but Zen from Mystic Messengers franchise is put in the smash category. Noctis from the Final Fantasy franchise gets an immediate pass, with Red passing a comment stating “he cries too much.”

Moreover, Tharja from Fire Emblem: Awakening gets an immediate Smash, with Red yelping “Oh Mommy” as soon as he sees the character. Futhermore, Junko Enoshima, Pit and Ash get passed. Bayonetta and Elena Fisher from the Uncharted Series are put in the smash category. Lastly, Link, Aoba Sergaki and Alisa get a pass as well and Samus Aran, Ezio, Mettaton and Minecraft’s Steve get smash from Red.
