Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Is Now Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kick-started Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, earlier this year in February. The movie is now streaming live on Disney+ Plus Hotstar, and audience here in India, can watch it in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. On the occasion of the Disney+ Hotstar launch, actress Evangeline Lilly commented on the development arc of Hope Van Dyne, the character she plays in the MCU. Here’s more.

Evangeline Lilly on the character dynamics of Ant-Man and The Wasp

Evangeline Lilly reflects on her character in the MCU, Hope Van Dyne. She said in the statement, as the movie launched on the Disney+ Hotstar streaming platform,

“Hope started as an isolated, cold, cut-off woman who had been hurt so badly in childhood that she really removed herself from intimacy and relationships. Now, she’s repaired her relationship with her father, she has returned her mother from the Quantum Realm, she’s fallen madly in love with Scott Lang—they’re a dynamic duo, a Super-Hero pair. And on top of that, she’s quasi-adopted his daughter, Cassie, and she’s revitalizing Pym Tech—using it to better the world.”

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania also launched the next giant looming threat of the MCU, Kang, who we first saw in Loki. Lilly also commented on how the movie depicts the intricacies of human relationships through its different characters like Hope, in this story otherwise taking place in the “grand and sweeping landscape” of the Quantum Realm.

“Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is a sweeping, epic, incredible story, told through small, intimate characters that we’ve come to know and love. I’m very excited to see these characters take their family dynamics and their intimacy into such a grand and sweeping landscape—in this film, we go into the Quantum Realm and we spend a lot of time exploring”

Evangeline Lilly stars opposite Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man. The movie also features Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been directed by Peyton Reed and is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
