Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk TV channel: How to watch Joshua vs Usyk tonight
Anthony Joshua will be taking on the undefeated Oleksandr Usyk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night. All three of AJ’s heavyweight title belts will be on the line, with Joshua trying to avoid any setbacks in his dream of unifying the division.
Joshua has won 24 of his 25 professional fights, with 22 of them coming by knockout.
His only defeat, against Andy Ruiz Jr, was avenged just six months later.
The Brit was expected to fight against Tyson Fury, in a match that would be a huge unification fight.
But, Fury was instead forced to complete a trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Usyk has won all 18 of his previous matches, including against Tony Bellew and Dereck Chisora.
He unified the cruiserweight division before moving up to heavyweight, winning both of his fights so far in the division.
Joshua was ordered to defend his WBO title against Usyk after the collapse in talks with Tyson Fury’s camp.
Usyk will now compete for his first heavyweight title at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Joshua, with AJ hoping not to slip up.
Joshua has already admitted the fight against Usyk will be a major challenge.
“We are two Olympic gold medallists who have fought our way to the top and never avoided challenges,” said Joshua.
“The venue is exceptional, the atmosphere will be electric, I’m honoured to be the first person to fight in such an awe-inspiring venue. The stage is set and I am ready to handle business.”
Between 60,000 and 80,000 fans could be seated in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the fight, almost certainly setting a new attendance record for the ground.
