AOC Collaborates With Porsche Design for New Gaming Monitor, Agon Pro PD32M

AOC and Porsche Design have come together once again, this time for a new gaming monitor from the Agon series. AOC launched the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M, a 31.5 inches gaming display, whose design is inspired by “characteristics and details of a Porsche sports car”.

Design inspired by Porsche Sports Cars

The highlight of the new AOC Agon Pro PD32M, according to AOC is the “rigidity and robustness”, “compactness”, inspired by Porsche’s sports cars. However, the functional design isn’t all that the PD32M is about. AOC also promises high-performance, because of its in-built features.

According to the press release, the PD32M features “a HDR1400 VESA certified, 10-bit Mini-LED panel with UHD resolution, peak brightness of 1600 nits, 1,07B colours and 97% DCI- P3, creating an unparalleled visual experience.”

The Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M has a flat IPS (AAS) panel, which reproduces 1.07 billion colours. This reportedly makes even subtle differences in hues stand out. It has a 4K resolution (3840 X 2160) with refresh rates of up to 144Hz. The DCI-P3 colour space has a 97 percent coverage. Mini-LED backlight technology along with 1,152 dimming zones helps image content light up individually.

Additionally, the gaming monitor is also compatible with Adaptive Sync which makes it capable of Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) implementations and reduces tearing and stuttering.

Coming with a built-in DisplayPort 1.4, along with two HDMI 2.1 ports, the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD23M can support devices up to 120 Hz at 4K with USB-C. It also supports current-gen consoles via HDMI 2.1. Catering to the taste of gamers, RGB lighting is an obvious inclusion. The back of the display also has customisable RGB lighting.

Price and Availability

The Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M is now available in the Indian market at an MRP of INR 2,34,990. AOC informs that this is a special launch price, however, the gaming monitor is now available on Amazon India at a discounted INR 1,34,091.
