Apex Legends: Notorious Melee-Spamming Glitch Is Back in Season 17, This Time With Ballistic
An infamous Apex Legends glitch has returned to the game. The melee spamming glitch, that has been around for quite some time is back, this time with Ballistic. Reports of multiple glitches and bugs started pouring in as Season 17 kicked off in Apex Legends on May 9. Here’s more on these developments.
Melee Spamming glitch is back
The melee glitch that lets players deal continuous melee strikes, is back with Ballistic, a champion who was introduced in Season 17. Players can cancel the animation of their ultimate abilities, mid-melee attack, by switching to Ballistic’s Sling Weapon. This results in a series of back-to-back melee attacks and punches, with no cooldown time in between either.
The developers at Respawn Entertainment have not yet addressed the issue. But this is one glitch that players have reported to experience in the game from time to time. It was ultimately said to be addressed and solved for good during Season 5 in 2020. However, that doesn’t look like the case for sure as it has evidently returned to the game in Season 17.
In other news, players in Apex Legends have also discovered a new hack to kill players as soon as they respawn on the map. To do so, you need to play as Fuse, and use the Knuckle Cluster on the ship from where the player drops down on the map. A Redditor by the username QuantumQuantonium shared a video of the same on May 16th.
