Apple Black Friday deals confirmed and there’s an important date to remember

The big Black Friday sales officially start next week with all of the UK’s biggest retailers offering massive discounts on smartphones, TVs and tablets. Now Apple has announced it is joining the money-saving party with the US technology giant confirming that its offers will start on November 24 – that’s Black Friday itself.

The deals will then run until November 27th which is officially called Cyber Monday. It’s a good time to think about refreshing your Apple gadgets especially if they are feeling a little past their best.

So what will Apple be offering as part of its sale?

Like most years, you’re not going to see huge cuts to the cost of the new iPhone 15 or the latest MacBook Pro at the lowest-ever price. Instead, Apple is dishing out gift cards instead when you buy certain products. That means you can purchase a laptop and then reduce the cost of an iPhone using the voucher.

“From 24 November, buy an eligible product and get an Apple Gift Card up to £160 to use on a later purchase,” Apple confirmed on its website.

Apple says that vouchers worth up to £160 will be up for grabs when purchasing products such as the iPhone, MacBook, iPad and Apple Watch.

For example, pop a new MacBook in your shopping basket and you’ll get a £160 Apple Gift Card. Buy an iPad and £80 will be handed to you.

iPhone fans can get Gift Cards worth up to £60 and there’s £40 when taking delivery of the Apple Watch.

Although Apple is dishing out gift cards, expect plenty of retailers such as Currys, Amazon and Argos to reduce iPhone, iPad and Mac prices in the coming days.
