Apple finally brings its Weather app to iPad – Times of India

Apple made various important announcements at its annual developer conference WWDC 2022 and one such announcement was the availability of its first-party Weather app. Apple is finally bringing its own Weather app to iPad and as part of its iPadOS 16.
At WWDC 2022, Apple shared some screenshots and the app looks quite similar to its iPhone version. The background reflects the weather and you will also find a big dashboard with all the details.
The company claims that the new weather app takes full advantage of the stunning iPad display.
With just a tap, users can see the most important weather information, or explore maps to check precipitation, air quality, and temperature. Along with this, users can also be notified when a severe weather alert is issued in their area, or check the air quality using a color-coded scale.
The all-new iPadOS 16 features a completely revamped multitasking experience with Stage Manager and full external display support. The new version of the OS also offers new ways to collaborate via Messages and brings big updates to Mail and Safari.
Apple revealed that the developer preview of the iPadOS 16 is available for the Apple Developer Program members and the public beta will be available to iPadOS users next month at beta.apple.com. New software features will be available this fall as a free software update for iPad (5th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), and all iPad Pro models.
